Static Caravan are a Leeds based band that combine melodic post-punk with soundscape design, and experimental production techniques. We play music a bit like The Modern Lovers, Fontaines D.C. or Sonic Youth, but our overall influences are far-reaching. Much of the band’s ethos centres around developing a sporadic style of music that explores a broad range of genres. Our fan-base is largely made up of people that we’ve met through music-based University societies, and DIY gigs at Leeds venues such as Wharf Chambers, Mabgate Bleach and Chunk.
